Mie Egelund Lind has a MA in Classical Archaeology from Aarhus University. In her master thesis, she worked with the relations between the living and the dead through memory and social identity represented in grave iconography in Alexandria, Egypt.

Mie has been part of UrbNet since 2015, and since finishing her studies in April 2017, she has worked fulltime as a research assistant at the centre. Furthermore, she has been part of the Danish-German Jerash Northwest Quarter Project since 2015.

As assistant centre administrator Mie will throw herself into somewhat unknown territory, and with the capable guidance of the centre administrator, she will deal with everything from administration and everyday tasks at the centre to copyediting.
