Introduction of Johan Sandvang Larsen
New PhD student at UrbNet.
I obtained a M.A. degree in Medieval- and Renaissance archaeology in the summer of 2017. In addition to active studying, I have been involved in a series of voluntary initiatives – i.e. planning archaeological- and interdisciplinary seminars, student union work, writing articles, and giving talks at various conferences.
In my PhD-project, I will investigate town archaeology as practiced by Northern European institutions through the sociology of science. From this, I seek to understand how new methods are spread, and how the movement of innovations can be improved.
