New PhD student at Lund University
Research assistant within the Palmyra Portrait Project, Rikke Randeris Thomsen, has accepted a PhD position at Lund University.
Rikke was offered and accepted a PhD position in Classical Archaeology and Ancient History at Lund University.
The topic of her research project is Hellenistic heroa and how they are located in both their physical and social context with the aim of understanding the use and layout of the buildings in this politically significant period.
She will start in Lund on the 1st September.
