UrbNet represented at this year’s Summer Bloom
The festival will take place on 14 July 2022, and UrbNet’s centre director, Professor Rubina Raja, will be there to talk about the archaeology of seasons.
This July, Sandskredet in Geopark Odsherred will be turned into a festival site. Nature, research and summer spirit come together at the one-day festival Summer Bloom. On the programme are concerts, communal eating, guided walks, and talks by researchers, just to mention some of the exciting things that will happen in the beautiful setting of Geopark Odsherred – a UNESCO Global Geopark.
UrbNet’s centre director, Professor Rubina Raja will be at the festival to talk about seasons in the past. In dialogue with Associate Professor in Biology Hans Henrik Bruun, she will put focus on the archaeology of seasons and how seasons can be read in the archaeological and geological record – and why we should invest our time and resources in this.
