Aarhus University Research Foundation (AUFF) has awarded UrbNet an "AUFF Guest Researcher grants", which will allow Professor Annalisa Marzano (University of Reading) to spend a month at the centre.

Annalisa Marzano is professor of Ancient History at University of Reading, with expertise in Roman social and economic history. Her research profile is highly interdisciplinary, and her work is internationally renowned. Her scholarly recognition has earned her several influential positions, among others a seat on the EU Regional Advisory Group for Internationalization. Her current project investigates Roman settlement patterns and urbanism drawing on textual and archaeological evidence. 

Marzano will be a guest at UrbNet in May 2017.
